The purpose of the General Nursing Programme is to prepare a general nurse who will function as a member of the health team beginning with competencies for the first level position in both the hospital and community.
AThe program is geared to the health needs of the country, the community and the individual; and it will serve as a basis for advanced study and specialization in nursing; it will assist nurses in their personal and professional development enabling them to make their maximum contribution to the society as individual citizens and nurses
B.Sc Nursing is a 4-year course consisting of 8-semesters with a syllabus of each year set out differently; different zones and domains are provided in B.Sc Nursing.
Pass in 12th or equivalent with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with English.
